For over 16 years GB American, Inc. has been a worldwide distributor of chainsaw guide bars, parts & accessories. GB bars are manufactured in Australia by its parent company, Griffiths & Beerens, Ltd. Key Business Issues: We wanted software that would be able to integrate our accounting needs with our inventory management. Information is now integrated seamlessly between our accounting and inventory. We now only have to look in one place to access the data needed instead of having to go between programs. MAS90 allows the sales team to have accurate and up to date data on their customer's sales and payments which lets them provide better customer service. The program is designed to grow with us so that we can add additional modules as we need them. Business Impact of Partnering with Bright Alternatives: Data was converted from our old system into MAS90 so that we did not loose our inventory and customer history. It is great to have a "live" person that knows and understands our company and how we use our data. This allows a quicker turn around time when solving issues that may arise, plus there is ongoing training as needed as we utilize more of MAS90's functions. |

Supercharge Your Peachtree Software!

Credit Card Service - As with Online Bill Pay, this too is a new service introduced with Peachtree 2006. The Peachtree Credit Card Service allows you to accept credit card payments from your customers online or in person. What's more, the service is fully integrated with the Peachtree accounting screens that you already use and you don't even have to switch banks.
Payroll Solutions - There are a variety of payroll solutions available for your Peachtree Software. If you need an entire payroll department at your fingertips, you may be interested in the Full-Service Payroll solution. It is essentially the equivalent of outsourcing your payroll to ADP, Paychex, or other similar services. On the other hand if you prefer to handle payroll in-house with the existing tools available through your Peachtree software, you may still be interested in the efficiency and up-to-date tax information available through the Peachtree Payroll Tax Update Service. Finally, Peachtree Direct Deposit is available to make payday easier for everyone in your company.
Third Party Solutions

Barcode nd Inventory Management - this set of integrated products will enhance inventory control as well as improve your shipping and receiving process. Handheld scanners are used in conjunction with bar code data that provides updated inventory information directly to your Peachtree software.
EDI and eCommerce - this add-on eliminates the need for manual data entry and allows you to quickly achieve EDI compliance with your customers. EDI allows you to electronically transmit invoice, purchase order, and advanced shipping notification data directly from your Peachtree system to your customers' systems thus saving time and money on manual data entry and avoiding costly mistakes.
Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) - this solution acts just like a cash register collecting sales information "over the counter" and automatically updating Peachtree accounting and inventory in the "back office". Quantity on hand is adjusted and sales accounts updated without duplicate and manual data entry.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken in Cream Sauce
2 cups Minute brown rice
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth, divided
6 Ritz crackers
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
4 small boneless chicken breast halves (1lb)
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1/3 cup chive & onion light cream cheese spread
3/4 lb (1 bunch) asparagus spears, trimmed, steamed
Cook rice as directed on package, using 1 1/4 cups of the broth and 1/2 cup water.
Meanwhile, mix cracker crumbs and Parmesan cheese on plate. Rinse chicken with cold water; shake off excess water. Dip chicken in cracker mixture, turning to coat.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 5 to 6 min. on each side or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Place chicken on serving plate. Set aside; keep warm. Add remaining 1/2 cup broth and cream cheese spread to same skillet. Cook on medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer 3 min. or until sauce thickens. Spoon sauce over chicken. Serve rice and asparagus with chicken. |
