Great Crepes They add a touch of finesse that will always impress! Basic Crepes 1 1/4 cups milk 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 egg 1 tsp. cooking oil 1/4 tsp. baking powder For dessert crepes, add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. sugar. For dinner crepes, add 1/4 tsp. salt, (optional). Serve with cinnamon sugar or chocolate-hazelnut spread, fruit preserves or marmalade. Dinner crepes are great with chicken, vegetables and shredded cheese. In a blender container combine all ingredients. Cover and blend until smooth. Heat a very lightly greased 6 or 8" skillet over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and pour about 2 tablespoons of batter into the center of the skillet. Lift and tilt the skillet until batter spreads. Return to heat. Cook about 1 minute or until light brown. Turn with a spatula and cook about 20 more seconds. Remove crepe and repeat with remaining batter. You may need to grease the skillet occasionally. Makes about 12 -8" crepes or 16- 6" crepes.
